Inventory Protection

Your stuff is automatically protected, but things can get confusing with friends.

The Basic Concept

Most blocks with inventories are automatically protected. There's a few different levels of protection:

Protection Levels

Choose the right protection type for your purposes.

lock

private

The default protection; only you and people you allow can access this inventory.

public

public

Anyone can access this inventory, but only you and people you allow can change the protection level.

volunteer_activism

donation

Anyone can put items in this inventory, but only you and people you allow can remove them.

public_off

unprotected

Anyone can access this inventory, but anyone can change the protection level.

Tips

Trusting

Trusting members allows them to all of your inventory protections. It's super simple too.

/trust add [player]

Allows the given player to access all of your inventory protections.

/trust list

Lists all of the players in your trust list.

/trust remove [player]

Removes the given player from your trust list.

Commands

While this isn't as simple as block protection, it's still fairly simple. Just see the commands below.

/cmodify [@][player]

Allows the given player to your inventory protection. Players with an @ in front can also remove or change the protection level and add members too.

/cprivate

Protects an inventory at the 'private' protection level.

/cdonation

Protects an inventory at the 'donation' protection level.

/cinfo

Provides information about a block's inventory protection.

/cremove

Removes inventory protection from the block you punch. It's recommended only to use this to change levels, otherwise other players can keep your block from you by protecting it themselves.

/cpublic

Protects an inventory at the 'public' protection level.

/cpersist

Persists your next command; useful for protecting or unprotecting a lot of blocks at once.

/lwc flag [flag] [on/off]

Toggles a flag on or off for the block you punch.

Flags

Flags enable certain features of your protections. See the tags you're allowed to toggle below.
